So cute~! This time, Chopper has collaborated with the “Shisa,” a guardian deity of Okinawa! In Okinawa, Shisa (a type of lion) are considered protectors that ward off evil spirits and disasters, and you’ll often find them placed at the entrances or rooftops of homes!

They usually come in pairs—the male wards off evil, while the female protects the household. It’s also said that the open-mouthed one welcomes good fortune, while the closed-mouth one keeps it from escaping! They’re super popular as souvenirs, too!
