This time, some big new information has been announced! Not only has Season 3 of the anime been confirmed, but we also got news of a brand-new compilation movie!

On August 31st, a special event was held to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, and during the talk show, five big announcements were made to mark the occasion!

Out of all these, the most exciting news is, of course, that Season 3—The Culling Game arc—will begin airing in January 2026! This storyline is an absolutely crucial chapter as the series accelerates toward its climax. It will feature an intense encounter between protagonist Itadori and Yuta, the hero of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, under the worst possible circumstances!

Season 3 will begin on TV in January 2026, but starting on November 7th, a new compilation movie editing together the second half of Season 2 (the Shibuya Incident arc) will be released in theaters—and it will also include Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 3! In other words, by going to see the compilation film in November, you’ll also get to see the first two episodes of Season 3! What a deal, and how exciting!

Meanwhile, in the currently running game app, a brand-new episode has been announced: Itadori infiltrates the supposedly inescapable Prison Island (Jugokutou) to rescue Nanami, who has been captured and imprisoned there!

So as you can see, new information has been revealed for the anime, the theatrical version, and even the game version of Jujutsu Kaisen! Things are really heating up from autumn into winter, so make sure you don’t miss it—especially Season 3!
