[ Haikyu!! Sendai Tourism Ambassador Merch ] Appointed for the third consecutive year! This year’s duo has been chosen to help promote Sendai, Japan—Haikyu!! Sendai Tourism Ambassador 2025 is here!

The story’s setting, Miyagi Prefecture—and especially the city of Sendai—are being promoted through this ambassador project! This year, the energetic Oikawa & Iwaizumi duo will be cheering on various spots throughout Miyagi Prefecture!

So, what kind of project is this exactly? Well, actually, Haikyu!! characters have been chosen as tourism ambassadors for Miyagi Prefecture for several years now! Since Haikyu!! is set in Miyagi, and Sendai is the prefecture’s capital city, they’re the perfect choice to promote the area!

To commemorate their appointment, limited-edition goods have been released—and that’s the real charm of this event! In the past, these items could only be purchased by visiting Sendai in person, but recently, they’ve been made available online so even fans who can’t travel can join in!
