To briefly explain this event, in the smartphone game version of Uma Musume Pretty Derby, they hold a special “week” event every year during Japan’s major May holiday, Golden Week, usually themed around the letter “G”! Last year, it was “Gray Week,” featuring gray-haired and gray-coated characters taking the spotlight......!

And the year before that, there was “Gochi Week,” themed around gochisou (meaning “delicious feast” in Japanese), celebrating amazing food! Every year, these events get fans incredibly excited!

And this year, the spotlight is on “Gold Week,” inspired by all things golden! Centered around Stay Gold, whose name literally includes “gold,” the event features characters connected to her lineage (inspired by the offspring of the real-life racehorse Stay Gold), all working together to make this holiday shine as brightly as gold itself! It even looks like the voice actresses are visiting sightseeing spots around Japan famous for finding gold. It honestly looks super fun......!

Getting back to the main topic, quite a lot of brand-new merchandise themed around this Gold Week event is being released!
