Hello everyone~! This is Mafuyu from Goods Republic!

This time...... we refreshed ourselves! In spring 2026, the Goods Republic team packed up our anime merch and headed off on a delicious and exciting company trip~!

So, what kind of place is Izu Kogen? If you look at a map of Japan, it’s right here! It’s an easy getaway from the Tokyo metropolitan area and a sightseeing destination surrounded by both mountains and sea! You can find a unique coastline created by volcanic activity around 4,000 years ago, and even Mt. Omuro, a mountain about 580 meters high that became one of the inspirations for the movie Your Name.! Since it’s a highland area, it stays pleasantly cool and is packed with outdoor activities and natural attractions!

We spent an exciting 2-day, 1-night trip enjoying the beauty of Izu Kogen! Together with our anime merchandise, we climbed the famous Mt. Omuro we mentioned earlier......

We also visited various museums, tried soba noodle making, experienced glassblowing workshops, explored a zoo, and even checked out a mini amusement park!

Seafood, mountain delicacies...... we ate and ate and ate all the delicious food we could find!!

Even after coming back and looking through the photos again, we can’t help but smile because every single picture brings back such fun memories! It truly was an amazing trip, and even thinking about how to take fun photos together with our anime merchandise was part of the adventure! Everyone, definitely give it a try too!
