Hi guys. It’s Mafuyu from Goods Republic.
I finally went to see it! Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie!!
Well, I gotta talk about it now. Let me share five things you might want to know about the movie with my feedback!!!!!!!!!!
【Kimetsu no Yaiba】I WENT TO SEE the Movie and It Was Super Awesome!!! Here Are FIVE Things To Share!!!!!!
And by the way, these are the illustration card and the booklet, which were the special gift for the audience! The booklet contains the episode about Rengoku-San’s past…… If we re-read this episode after watching the movie, we become even sadder……
Which chapter of the manga was covered?
It covered exactly from chapter 54 to 66!
I mean, more specifically, it was from page 3 of chapter 54!
At the beginning of the movie, the scene (that leads to chapter 66), where Ubuyashiki Kagaya-San walks in the cemetery, was added but except that scene, everything was faithfully depicted to the original! The running time was about 117 minutes! It was separated into two parts, ‘Mugen Train’ and ‘Akaza’!
The story begins by this Zenitsu’s line and then the scene, where Oyakata-Sama walks in the cemetery, was added! In that scene, Oyakata-Sama walks on the ground, where the members, who have passed away from the war, are buried, calling each member’s name!
How did you like the movie?
I was happy that I was able to see it in the theater! It was really amazing!!!
The whole story was well-organized since the episodes from the original was easily-separated in the first place! Above all, the animation is super beautiful and the fight scenes were done so well that I felt it was much higher quality than the anime!! (I might be exaggerating but this is what I honestly felt!)
Unlike the anime, we watch it in the dark theater. The flame technique by Rengoku Kyoujurou-San in the dark was breathtakingly beautiful! The scene, where brightly lit flame cuts through the enemy, was “perfect!” for the movie! If we watch the same scene on TV, we wouldn’t be able to feel this way! “This flame performance was that stunning!!”
Were you moved?
Yes, I was absolutely moved.
Even though I knew what would happen at the end from the manga, and it was actually almost the same storyline as the original, I did cry. I would say even those, who are not familiar with Kimetsu no Yaiba, would understand what has happened at the end. See more details about the moving scene in the next question!
Which was the great scene?
I gotta say it’s THIS SCENE! It’s the climax scene, where I cried too! Tanjirou shouted, “You’re coward!!!!” to Akaza, who runs away from the sunrise……!
This scene was not actually that impressive in manga (personally) but it made me so sad that I cried in the movie…… Tanjirou, being sick mentally and physically, just keeps shouting, losing his voice and crying at the same time…… it was really resonated to my heart more than in manga……
I was actually seeing Rengoku-San who was eating obento, saying it’s delicious! with the same look as Tanjirou. then I cried…… The ending song was super sad too, which made me impressed until the very end……
After I watched this movie, I came to like Inosuke even more…… He is such a good boy…… Not just Inosuke though.
Everybody is such good boys and girl…… Zenitsu, Tanjirou, Nezuko…… I want them to be strong…… but at the same time, I don’t want to get injured anymore. I don’t want them to get hurt……
Was the announce of Season 2 premiere made?
I’m sorry to tell you this but…… let’s wait for another announcement……
Since it finished exactly at chapter 66, Season 2 might start with the scene, where they meets Rengoku-San’s father, if there is one……
Well, but the original has already been concluded and the final volume of the comics will be released soon too so…… I’m guessing there will be the one! Let’s wait! There will be Season 2!!
So! My overall feedback about the movie was awesome, breathtaking, and fabulous……! For those who have read the original, for those who are not familiar with this series…… I’m sure everybody will understand the storyline until the climax, and cry for sure.
And!!! If you can, please actually go to see it in the theater! You will definitely feel differently from watching its anime on TV!! No regret at all!! I mean, I want to go see it again!!!
Oki-doki! This is all for today! I’ll see you guys at the next article!
After watching the movie, I really want Rengoku-San’s goods……
Rengoku-San…… I’m gonna cry again……(´；ω；`)
