Due to Corona Pandemic, all the Anime Movies, which were scheduled to release around March to July, suspended and released after October. Especially for the movie “Detective Conan The Scarlet Bullet,” the release date was extended all the way to April, which surprised us a lot, huh?

I thought that a majority of the anime movies, which released this year, were “the sequels from the TV anime series!” Not the story after the ending but the one after Season 1 or 2, where the story still goes on!

For example, the one which released in January, Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul, was a direct sequel from the television version (and the compilation episode).

So was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, which released in October, breaking the record of the Japanese highest box office revenue.

So was Fate/Grand Order - Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot, depicting the middle of the story. Even though, this series might not be classified as the same definition.

As for Made in Abyss, it is scheduled to make the sequel of the TV anime series (the sequel of the movie). For these three, we should check out the movie version before Season 2 or the sequel begins, huh?

(This is how Mafuyu feels) but the original movie that went viral when it arrived in Japan was “The Legend of Luo Xiaohei”! We did have advance info about the movie, having made a huge hit in China, so many of the Japanese people went to watch it, being excited! And guess what? It was incredibly good as we had expected! It’s still being released in many movie theaters in Japan!

In 2021, the new title of the movie, EVA, is scheduled to release too! Let’s go watch it (if we can) while trying to prevent infection and taking care of ourselves~! I hope we all will be able to go watch many anime movies in 2021!
