Yep! A legendary Jump series, Shaman King’s anime adaptation is scheduled to air as one of the Spring 2021 Anime, starting in April! This is absolutely a MUST-WATCH series for both those who have seen it and those who haven’t! Here are the two reasons why you shouldn’t miss out this awesome series, Shaman King!

What Is a Legendary Jump Series, Shaman King?

It’s a classic-type fantasy shonen manga, serialized in Shonen Jump around 1998!

Shaman King is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takei Hiroyuki-Sensei in 1998. It had been serialized until 2004 when it became terminated with the final episode. A television anime adaptation which aired in 2001 was quite popular that its opening and ending theme songs have still been loved by so many people!

The story focuses on “Sharman,” medium between the worlds of living and the dead, fighting in the “Shaman Fight,” which takes place once every 500 years to decide the King of Shaman!

The story is quite classic! Through all the battles and trainings, he grows strong and fights with his buddies to beat the powerful enemies……! The story is organized so simply but it’s very interesting with so many attractive characters, which makes us realize that it’s still been loved by so many people!

So! Shaman King’s anime adaptation will be the 2nd one, followed by the one in 2001, and today…… I’ll tell you why we cannot miss out this series!

The Two Reasons You Cannot Miss Out!

This will be truly the final episode, written and illustrated by the author! The “complete version” is the original of this anime!

First of all, the reason why we cannot miss out or why I would recommend this series is that the “complete version” was incorporated into the anime’s original!

The “complete version” is a special version, where the author depicted “what he really wanted to express” after Shaman King came to an end having been terminated! (They are almost the same until a certain point!) So, its ending turns out different from both its manga series and 2001’s anime! It’s an extremely awesome anima version which is faithful to the ideal and the original!

This element is one of the reasons why I want to recommend to both those who don’t know this series and those who haven’t watched its final episode yet!

Almost all the casts from 2001’s anime will get together after 20 years!

And! Another reason why I want to recommend this series is that I found out that almost all the voice actors who played in 2001’s anime will play their roles again! This is quite amazing! After 20 years, they are now professional and experienced actors……! They will all get together and play each character’s role again!

Unfortunately, some of them have been retired in 20 years so they are replaced with other actors in this case…… But still, we see all the actors in the interview, saying they work hard so they can replicate the original style, cherishing the atmosphere which 2001’s anime had as much as possible!

With the complete version which is depicted an ideal final episode as the original, the same anime casts from 2001’s anime will perform again! I can tell that all the staff who are being involved with this anime are passionately trying to spread out how wonderful this series is once again, working together! I think it’s a fantastic casting, which makes those who know the original anime, feel nostalgic!

That’s why I want to recommend this to everybody so bad! You’ll see how the legendary series, Shaman King will be revived again in this modern world!
