What Is Bishounen Tanteidan (Pretty Boy Detective Club)?

The original is a Japanese mystery novel series, written by Nisio Isin-Sensei, who also wrote Monogatari series. Both a novel and a comicalized versions have already been concluded. Since these two are written by the same author, a collaborated novel has been announced too.

As you can see from the title, “Bishounen Tanteidan (Pretty Boy Detective Club),” I thought it was ta shojo manga style-story, focusing on a love story between men and women but……
It actually wasn’t!! It was a detective anime series, where beautiful boys try to solve mysterious cases happening at school gorgeously and brightly!!!!

This anime is so interesting!
First off, those who loved the Monogatari series, you should watch it! I’ve watched it before too but they are similar, making us feel nostalgic!! It’s hard to describe it so just watch anime’s episode 1 anyways! You will definitely know what I mean……!

Aaand! For those who love a mystery or detective genre! Give it a try too! The world view, the setting and the storyline are made in quite a unique way, where the characters solve mysterious cases happening at middle school “beautifully!”
The story is set in the modern world so you don’t need any advance knowledge, which is one of the best parts too!
Just watch it! You can enjoy it without knowing anything! That’s the attractive part about Bishounen Tanteidan (Pretty Boy Detective Club), I guess!
