For instance, take a look at this one! The new series of a worldly-(maybe) popular show is scheduled to premiere in July!!

FIVE-Minute, and You’ll Learn the Latest Series: Love Live! Superstar!!

Speaking of Love Live!, it’s a youth idol anime, where the characters work hard and grow as “school idols,” overcoming changes or hardship that they face so they can make their wishes come true! This will be the fourth series and they say some brand-new school idols will be added there!!

The main characters this time belong to the group called “Liella!”!!

The group, which the characters in this series belong to, is a school idol unit, called Liella!!
This group name is originally from a school name: “Yurigaoka Private Girls High School.” And it’s the coined words from the school’s name: “lier,” meaning “to connect, or to convey” and “brillante,” meaning “something sparkling inside”!
Wow. It’s well-thoughts-out name……! They are the coined words, so this might have been the idea from all the members? It’s a short name filled with strong wishes! Such a great unit name, I guess!

FIVE current members of Liella!!

Well, well……! Currently, these five girls belong to Liella!! It looks like they are all so unique, although we don’t have much info yet~!!

Shibuya Kanon

Her mother manages the family café.
She is good at latte art and loves café au lait and baked apple. She started her school idol career because she thought that there would be something she, just an ordinary girl, could do.

Tang Keke
唐 可可

She is a Chinese girl from Shanghai. She had a love for school idols, which led her to make the move to Yuigaoka High from Shanghai. She has studied Japanese so hard that her Japanese is very fluent. She loves to make costumes, especially she is good at re-making the thrifted clothes.

Arashi Chisato
嵐 千砂都

She is the childhood friend of Kanon. She loves a little round and cute Takoyaki and also works at a Takoyaki food truck. At first, she wanted to dance, however, she ended up joining the school idol club. She is an active girl.

Heanna Sumire

While helping out as a maiden at a shrine which her parents own, she is an entertainer, taking selfies or streaming videos. She calls herself a “galaxy charisma” and devotes her time as an idol, using the word “galaxy!” as her signature phrase.

Hazuki Ren

Her mother is a founder of the school. Because she has experienced doing so many things since she was little, such as horseback riding, playing the piano and figure skating, she is very skillful at them. While she is sometimes not good at communicating with people, she is such a hard worker to accomplish the goal.
By the way…… there’s something in common among them……!!
Guess what?? They’re all in the 1st grade of high school!!
You know why? Because it’s the first year since this Yurigaoka Private Girls High School was founded! Kanon-Chan and the other girls are all in the first grade and the very first student of this school at the same time!
And! This story is set in Harajuku, which is well-known as one of the sightseeing spots!!
Besides Harajuku, you can see other sightseeing spots around Harajuku in the trailer, so I’m sure you will enjoy watching it, especially if you’re familiar with sightseeing spots in Japan……!!
Compared to the previous Love Live! series, we see a big difference in the setting of school, grades, the areas and the number of the members, which is quite interesting……! What will Episode 1 be like!? Go check it out!
