Yep! So! What I’ll be featuring today is...... a new-style mobile game, Genshin Impact, developed by a Chinese company! It’s a now-HOT game with an overwhelming quality and worldview...... What is it like?

What Is Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed and published by a Chinese game company named miHoYo. It was released in September 2020 and the basic play is free. It’s one of the social games and we can play not only with smartphones but also with PlayStation or Windows.

It has been explosively popular now in Japan, where we can explore a vast world freely. It’s a real action role-playing game where you can play with your smartphone.

We can play it not only with our smartphone but also with our home video game consoles too! That’s awesome!! We all have a different way of enjoying it so it’s great that we have multiple ways of playing!!

The story is set in a virtual world, Teyvat. People have believed in Gods and developed Teyvat, getting power to control “seven major nations.”

However, 500 years ago, so many natural disasters occurred in Teyvat, due to extinction of a certain country. Although those disasters are now gone, Teyvat is not a peaceful world yet.

So, the players travel in Teyvat, which is developed and evolved by the seven major nations, to get a peaceful world back.
