Now it’s December and the year 2021 is almost ending...... Do you remember what anime shows you watched this year?

I vaguely remember watching some anime in summer but I can’t remember what I watched around January this year...... Is it only me? How about you?

I remember one though...... it’s Jujutsu Kaisen (Sorcery Fight) being on air in January this year but then...... I found out that it actually started to air in October 2020, which really amazed me.

So, today! I will share with you guys some of the anime that aired in 2021 in this article, trying to remember them! Alright! Let’s begin with the ones that started airing in January 2021, which I can’t recall at all!

When 2021 just started, two anime went viral (in my opinion)! Especially this one, PUI PUI Molcar, got super popular and known so well!!!

I don’t know if this can be classified as an anime series but the characters were all adorable even without saying anything. One of the best parts was that each episode stands alone with only 2 and a half minutes. It was so easy for me to watch every week too! I really enjoyed watching it!

And another one is...... SK∞ (SK8 the Infinity) is one of the most memorable spring 2021 anime!!

I don’t think it went viral right after Episode 1 aired but it gradually became popular, starting to focus on human relationship, making the story even more thrilling and exciting every week!

I have a feeling that many Japanese people got interested in skateboarding event in summer Olympic, influenced by SK∞, based on skateboard, airing in January! They announced that SK∞’s new anime project (Anime’s 2nd season or a movie version?) is now scheduled to release! This is going to be another hot subject, huh~??

Among all the anime series starting to air in April 2021, the most impressive one is definitely THIS!! It’s Tokyo Revengers!!

Starting off its anime adaptation in April 2021, it has sold over 10 million copies in total. Then it’s now over 40 million copies! Not only do all the attractive characters play such important roles but the mysterious storyline is also amazing, where the main protagonist tries to save his ex-girlfriend from dying~!! In Japan, it’s been going viral since April and we now see so many ads of this series throughout Japan!

Aaand! Another series that started airing in April, which I felt super impressive is Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet, which was aired first time in one year~!

This movie was originally scheduled to release in April 2020, however, it was extended to the next year because they wanted to prevent people from getting infected. I just couldn’t wait for that one whole year! But I finally watched it......!! I was super satisfied with a story, where all my favorite characters appeared!! Akai-San is so cute!! We can’t wait for the one releasing in 2022, either!!

As I remember summer this year, it was super hot in Japan and I would often eat delicious ice cream. In Japan, fruit sandwiches full of whip cream went viral around winter and spring while Italian sweets, Maritozzo, became so popular too, which I ate so many times. Like this, summer 2021 was delicious to me.

Aaand, one of the most impressive anime series starting to air in July 2021 is...... Love Live! Superstar!!~!

Love Live! Superstar!! was simply a great story! I feel that so many series starting to air in July 2021 contained 2nd season or sequels. Among them, this is one of the most memorable ones for me......!

The series was well-organized with 12 Episodes in total. Above all, the storyline of the final episode was so awesome. We knew that there would be a sequel coming up so it was easy for us to follow the story! To me, Keke-Chan was super cute and a good chara! Can’t wait for its 2nd season coming out!!

And “now” is supposed to be the time when more and more fall 2021 anime, which started to air in October 2021, are airing but......

Don’t you think now is the busiest time in 2021?

First off, we have a classic type youth anime, Blue Period, and a high speed gag anime, The Vampire Dies in No Time, and then now-HOT Kimitsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer), where its movie was made into an anime version...... Everything is just so awesome! There are many more series that I want to feature in this article too!

To me, I really enjoyed watching a gag anime, The Vampire Dies in No Time because I can enjoy watching it even when I come home, feeling exhausted! Cute! Funny! He dies in no time!! We never have to feel nervous watching it! I love it! John is so adorable......!

Looking back, I was personally busy this year from work but I often enjoyed watching anime for a change! So, I can easily recall the gag anime, the ones where each episode stands alone or the ones which I can enjoy watching for a change, rather than the serious ones~!

Let me tell you this! I think this year was precious for me, when I was able to think how deeply I can connect with anime! So, you guys! How did you enjoy watching anime in 2021?
