Today I want to talk about this anime...... yes, I really want you to watch and to know this returned series! Fans have been waiting for Season 2 long enough! Let’s watch this popular series for the first time in 11 years together!!

First of all, do you know the TIGER & BUNNY series? I know many of you already know, but I wonder if all of you know all the details.

We have over 3000 pieces of merchandise for TIGER & BUNNY in Goods Republic and it is a very popular series. Even if you do not know much of the series, I am sure many of you have seen the character goods.

In this article, I want to recap TIGER & BUNNY Season 1 without many spoilers. If you don’t know much of the story, you can learn it before watching Season 2. Season 1 completed with 25 episodes. If you want to watch them, you still have time before the airing of Season 2.

It is not a rare genre now in 2022, but 11 years ago, they were new factors in the story as an original anime. So I think people have a strong impression for TIGER & BUNNY in this genre of anime!

Because there was no manga or novels for the series, fans enjoyed every new episode on TV. This is the great point of the original series. We were moved by every story development.

The series contains superpower battles which is the main fun part of the series, but each character is lovable and has wonderful charm.

The characters are heroes, but they also live as ordinary people. Their daily lives as ordinary people are described very well in the story.

For example, the main character, Kaburagi Kotetsu, has a superpower which makes his physical ability 100 times more than normal for 5 min, as Wild Tiger. As a hero, he sometimes does not mind to break things with his power in order to protect people’s safety first. However, other superheroes also work hard and so people are not giving a lot of attention to him.

In his private life, he lost his wife so his only daughter is now living with her grandmother. Even though he is not in his golden age anymore, he still works to protect people as a superhero. The reason why he still works as superhero is because of the promise he made to his deceased wife. She asked him to be a hero no matter what. Since Kotetsu has not told his daughter that he is a superhero, it sometimes makes it difficult to communicate with his daughter.

Just like Kotetsu, every character has a reason to work as a superhero and also has some problems just like ordinary people. They are all unique individuals and grow through the story.

Kotetsu’s superpower has been reduced. The sponsors who support Kotetsu’s activity told him to help a young hero, Barnaby Brooks Jr. and become buddy heroes as “TIGER & BARNABY.”

Barnaby Brook Jr. does not use a hero name to protect his private life. He uses his real name as superhero! This is not safe for superheroes because his private life can be in danger. Why does he do that? What is the purpose in using his own name? Are two heroes able to work together to fight against villains? This is the main story of “Tiger and Bunny”!

In the event held recently, it was announced that new 3 heroes will be in Season 2! Black and white suited heroes and a magical girl hero are added! I wonder how they work as heroes! I can’t wait to see them being active in the story!

In 2022, a superhero story is not rare in the anime world nowadays. However, TIGER & BUNNY is still an interesting anime for Hero x Action Battle x Superpower x human drama!! It keeps a high quality of storyline. Please prepare to watch Season 2 starting April!!
