It’s almost the end of April. Are you watching any Spring 2022 Anime that started airing since April?

While watching Spring 2022 Anime, I have been recapping Winter 2022 Anime since the last week. There were many wonderful anime in winter. Today, I want to introduce a highly recommended winter anime if you have not checked them yet!

Sasaki to Miyano is categorized as a BL manga that has a good storytelling and character settings. Today I want to explain about this manga’s great points to everyone!

A BL manga that sold over 1 million copies means the series is truly popular! It has been serialized for long time, and the manga is very popular for sure!

What kind of anime is Sasaki to Miyano? Let me explain it as simply as possible!

One of the main character, Miyano Yoshikazu (The black hair boy in the image above.) loves reading BL manga. He thinks his face is too feminine and does not like about it.

One day Miyano witnessed a fight between two students!

Another main character, Sasaki Shumei, also witnessed the fight from behind and he broke it up to stop the fight. Sasaki and Miyano did not know each other well at that time. Miyano thought that Sasaki was a punk because of his appearance.

After the incident, the two got along each other. Sasaki was kind and liked to tease Miyano. One day, Miyano told Sasaki that he liked to read BL manga. It was a big secret for Miyano and he never told about it to anyone before.

Sasaki did not criticize or deny about it and showed his understanding and empathy. It was first time for Miyano to be understood what he really liked. So Miyano started liking Sasaki as a good friend.

Then, Sasaki realized that he fell in love with Miyano who was always talking happily next to him!

Lately, Japanese anime tends to express extreme actions and flashy settings. Viewers also like them a lot. However, Sasaki to Miyano is very relaxed and nothing is flashy in the story. It describes changes in human relationships gradually and show how people slowly start liking each other.

The story ended very nicely, so you will feel some kind of satisfaction after you watch whole episodes! There is no extreme description in the story. You may feel it as if you were supporting someone’s romance gently. Highly recommended for BL manga beginners. It has a great story that describes a gentle relationship of two boys!

After I watched whole episodes of Sasaki to Miyano, I really wanted to recommend it anyone who want to try a BL series. It is very relaxed and wonderful manga. If you have time, please check it out!
