Before introducing today’s anime, I have a question for you. Do you have anything that you started recently for the first time? I think it’s never too late to start anything, but I am not sure about starting to work as idol group for people who are around 40 years old.

Eternal Boys started airing in October 2022! This anime is not based on a novel or manga. So no one knows how the story will be developed. I watched episode 1 and I felt I wanted to keep watching their journey to be an idol group!! They make effort to overcome such barriers as their age and their physical condition.

The story of Eternal Boys

In episode 1, it described that Sanada Kentarou went to a job interview at a company.

Kentarou got fired from his company where he worked for 17 years. He tried to find a new job and went for various interviews, but he failed all the interviews so far. This time, Kentarou went for an interview for a sales position in a company.

He finally got accepted! He was accepted to become a member of a middle-aged men idol group!! All the members were around 40 years old!! They are going to debut as “Eternal Boys”!!

Kentarou described his desperation, seriousness, and his feeling of being cornered in his life!! The other members used to be a soccer player, a teacher, a former child actor......etc. They all have a variety of life experiences. They are trying to be an idol group and grow up together.

As you already know, the members are in their 40s. So their physical condition, dancing, singing, and other various factors are inferior to other young groups.

First of all, Kentarou was whining all the time. He was looking for reasons not to try. However, while watching the other members’ effort to become an idol in their own ways, gradually, Kentarou was also becoming serious about working hard at it. The members realized that they have unique “charms!”

They try to overcome many things they cannot do. It is totally different from the story of a young idol group. Anime Eternal Boys is really fun to watch! We understand how difficult starting something new is when people get older. However, they already have various life experiences and know they have their own unique charms, so they believe in themselves!

This anime is just 15 min long per episode. If you want to cheer yourself up in a short time, this fall anime is highly recommended!!
