Therefore, today, I am going to help you with remembering the first half of the current season for TIGER & BUNNY. Let’s review this anime together so we can catch up with the second half of the season that started airing in October!

The second half of season 2 started airing exclusively on Netflix in October 2022! I am sure some of you still haven’t checked the first half of season 2 that aired in April 2022 yet. So if you don’t want to watch the second half of season 2 without watching the first half, let’s check the outline of the first half together as quickly as possible!

By the way, what is TIGER & BUNNY?

TIGER & BUNNY is a popular anime series started in 2011. Some people have the super power “NEXT” in the world of TIGER & BUNNY. The story is about heroes vs. villains. Heroes use super powers and fight against crimes in the city together!

The reasons why TIGER & BUNNY is popular are that “the heroes daily lives as ordinary people are described very well in the story,” “the story development as a Buddy x Action is very interesting!” and “watching heroes growing up through protecting the city and having their own ordinary lives was very well described.” They worry about things, are having family problems, and had a difficult time in their past, just like us! Viewers can watch their growth as ordinary people as the story progresses.

What is the difference between TIGER & BUNNY 1 and 2?

In the city, Stern Bild, the heroes’ active duties are usually streamed live. Their activities are rated in a ranking format and they are supported by sponsors. They usually hide their work as a hero.

In season 1, there were some problems in the city, but somehow public order was maintained in the city due to their effort. The system in Stern Bild was evaluated well in the world and the popularity of the heroes increased. Then, new heroes were born!

According to sponsor’s policies, heroes from season 1 were ordered to work with other heroes as their buddies. (We will not reveal the details such as who works as buddies here.)

The first half of TIGER & BUNNY2 contained 13 episodes and introduced the new buddy system, the buddies’ lives, new villains, an epilogue for things that happened and so on!

Whether it’s good or bad, the heroes lives changed from season 1. Characters grew up in the story through meeting with new partners and changes in their lives. Each episode was well made and you can feel season 2 as upgraded version of season 1. I felt that 13 episodes finished too quickly!
