Bleach is a comic about "Death god (Soul Reaper)" which is being published in serial form in Shonen Jump. This is a fantasy-battle comic representing Shonen Jump like NARUTO and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Ichigo Kurosaki, a central character, met Kuchiki Rukia, a death god girl, and gained power to be a death god. He encountered many death gods and people because he became a death god and gradually access to his own secret! The appeal of this anime is battle scenes! Among several battle comics in Shonen Jump such as NARUTO and ONE PIECE, this is most cool! Characters battle with various weapons such as swords and arts.
As well as central character Ichigo Kurosaki, my favorite character is Hitsugaya Toushirou and Urukiora! AS well as their martial stance, their lines and belief are great! Figurines and costumes of these characters are especially popular in Japan. Let's find your favorite character's figurines!!!

By the way, the title "BLEACH" was named because the word which conjures up white image. By using white, which has opposite meaning of black conjures the image of death god, black stands out more!
