I have! Because this anime was said to be the anime that you should not have any preconception before you watch! It is a very different from other anime that was released in 2021.

What is ODDTAXI?

From now on, I will quickly explain about ODDTAXI for those who haven’t watch it yet. As I said at the beginning, I do not spoil anything much, so please don’t worry and you can read it quickly!

The main character of the story is a taxi driver, Odokawa!

This story is developed by the main character who is a taxi driver, Odokawa. The story takes place in Japan. He is a very serious and quiet taxi driver. He drives around city with his customers.

Runaway or abduction?
“Disappearance case of high school girl” happened!

One day, a disappearance case of high school girl happened. Odokawa thinks it is nothing to do with his work or himself, however when he talks with his customers while driving, he realized that he was getting closed to the fact of this disappearance case!

OK! That is all I can say without spoiling the story!

Why “ODDTAXI” did not gather people’s attention much?

It is interesting, but people do not talk about ODDTAXI much. The reason is quite simple. People find it interesting when they complete to watch the whole season or to find out the conclusion of the story.

After watching it, they realized how interesting this anime is. I think it takes time to figure it out. Many people want to watch this anime from episode 1 again after watched whole episodes. Foreshadowing of the story were evenly placed all over and they are recovered nicely at the end.

Conversations between Odokawa and his customers have meanings at all time. It connects the dots beautifully. Especially at episode 13, it was amazing!! Ohhh, this is how the story end??? That is what I felt!!

After the story of surprised episode 13 will be described in the movie adaptation.

The catchphrase of the movie “ODDTAXI in the wood” is “The truth is still in a mystery”. It has a meaning for people who watched the anime ODDTAXI from episode 1 to 13. What is going to happen to Odokawa? I am scared to know, but I want to know!
