We have waited a year since February 2022! A new episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) will be coming back! This time, Swordsmith Village Arc will begin anew! However......

Why is Tanjirou heading to Swordsmith Village......? Since I've forgotten, let's review the previous season and preview some of the key points for the new one!

Ahead in the manga version! Why do Tanjirou and his friends go to the village of the swordsmith?

I went back to watch the previous season to try to recall why Tanjirou and his friends were going to Swordsmith Village, which is also the title of the show, but the answer was not portrayed.

So I checked to see if it was depicted in the manga version of Swordsmith Village, and it was well written! This was because Haganezuka-San, who always makes Nichirin Swords, refused to accept the request for restoration, saying, “I won't make swords for you (Tanjirou) anymore because you damage it every time!”

While Tanjirou was seriously injured, other members of the team sent requests to Haganezuka for repairing Tanjiro’s Nichirin sword before he woke up. But what came back was letters cursing Tanjirou for not taking good care of the sword. Scary!!

When Tanjirou was in trouble, Ubuyashiki Kagaya (Oyakata-sama) suggested that Tanjirou should visit Swordsmith Village and negotiate directly with Haganezuka. So, Tanjirou heads alone to Swordsmith Village, where the Nichirin Sword, an essential item for fighting demons, is made!!

What are the key points and which characters are worth noting?

This season's key characters are Hashira members, Kanroji Mitsuri and Tokitou Muichirou, who have already been announced. Also, Shinazugawa Genya, who can be called Tanjirou's “peer,” will make his first appearance.

Hashira, Kanroji Mitsuri and Tokitou Muichirou, made a brief appearance near the end of the first season! They each appear to be visiting Swordsmith Village for a different purpose than Tanjirou!

So, what kind of character is Shinazugawa Genya? Well, he is the boy who passed the entrance exam for The Demon Slayer Corps with Tanjirou! He has grown up and his hair has changed a bit, but his sharp eyes and mood are still the same as when we first met him......

What abilities these three have and what they will do in the story will not be explained here! Because it will be fully described in the Swordsmith Village Arc!
