So! Are you ready? I’m going to share a rough outline (no spoilers!) of this anime called Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, whose season 2 will air soon! We want you to watch season 1 before watching season 2!

What is Sugar Apple Fairy Tale like? It’s not just sweet! Everything happens in the world where the fairies and humans co-exist!

This show originates from one of the popular light novels!
It’s a classic type fantasy genre story depicting the relationship between humans and fairies based on “domination” and “serving”!
Once upon a time, there were humans and fairies co-existing together.
The fairies used to control humans before, however, their relationships were reversed due to the rebellion happened 500 years ago.
Now, humans are the ones who control the fairies.
In this world, “candies’ were special, especially because they make the fairies live longer and they also bring people happiness and smiles.

The ones who hold the keys to this story is Ann, who’s been trying hard to get the title “Silver Sugar artisan,” which can only be bestowed to those who were admitted as an artisan by royalty, and a fairy named Shall.

Anne is a candy crafter determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a “Silver Sugar Master,” a title bestowed only by royalty. She is the main character of this story and travels around so she can attend the fair held in the royal capital. On the way there, she grows, encountering various fairies and humans.
She hates to see fairies being treated as slaves and servants. She wants to get along with Shall, who got from the merchant (since she needed one for her guard while traveling).

He is a fairy, born from the obsidian and has a high ability as a warrior.

It is a very well-balanced fantasy genre-story! Compared to the love comedy, there are not so many gag elements but it has the love story elements too! The story sometimes gets very serious in a real world where fairies and humans co-exist. I would say this is a classic type of fantasy genre-anime! I would recommend this to those who want to enjoy the whole long story instead of the one where each episode stands alone!!

This anime went viral because how the last episode (Episode 12) ended. So! Watch Season 1 before watching Season 2!

Actually, this anime went viral in Japanese social media since how Episode 12 ended was quite shocking......! At that time, we saw all the comments such as “I bet there will be the other half!” “There’s no way this is the end of the story!!!”......! And I thought the same way too......!

So......! I would really recommend that you should watch how Episode 12 ended first, instead of starting watching Season 2 in July! Season 1 aired from January to the end of March this year! So it’s not that old! I can clearly remember how shocked I felt......!
